THE DAILY DALEK GUEST STRIP - BEING DALEK

I was lucky enough to get the chance to do a guest strip for the Daily Dalek at www.tonecartoons.co.uk which I finished working on last night. I emailed it across just before bedtime and then this morning when I got up I found that Tone had put the picture up on-line already! Inspiration as usual comes from the talented mind of Alasdair Shaw, so zip over and take a look at our latest creation... being dalek!

IN PRINT - EPISODE 24

Episode 24 and the conclusion to the latest story arch of In Print is up over at the Doctor Who Reprint Society. And so this means we've completed a whole years worth of our duo's adventures. The next couple of weeks In Print see a few guest strips from different artists showcasing their visions of our favorite Timelord(s). My version will be back in just over a months time with a whole new set of story-lines for you... and believe me, we've got some corkers!  Been a busy couple of weeks for me hence why I've not blogged for a while. With completing a interview for Blazingminds.co.uk going out this Monday and creating a comic strip for Alwyn Ash from Regent-times.blogspot.com, the last two week has also been filled with everyone around me including myself getting the sickness bug. Normal service will resume! Expect a good few extra blog posts as we head towards In Print's 1st aniversary...

THE DOCTOR'S NEW CLOTHES... UPDATED

And here we have it - The eighth Doctor's new clothes
from this weeks episode of  In Print.
The outfit along with a new sonic screwdriver and a bag was designed by the Weta Workshop - the guys behind the lord of The Rings effects, and were worn by the eighth Doctor himself - Paul Mcgann at the Armageddon Pop Culture Expo in Auckland New Zealand October 2010. It was a bid to 'update' from the old fashioned Edwardian look to a more 21st century style in hoping it would be used possibly for the Big Finish covers. The shirt and trousers he was wearing that day were his own. So far it doesn't look as if the outfits been used for anything, so who-knows just how long our eighth Doctor is going to keep it for... If no.7 can have a new costume then why cant 8 ?!

Info Supplied by Paul Scoones, who currently writes for the Doctor Who production notes on BBC DVDs and has wrote a book about Doctor Who comic strips from the 1960/70's. Link to his blog here - Paulscoones.com

You can catch up with our on-going saga over at the
Reprint Society website right Here!

A TALE OF THREE DOCTOR'S... THE 'IN PRINT' CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

Here's one of my favorite frames from the In Print Christmas Special. So far the special has proven to be quite popular over the last few days so I'm certainly in favour of doing another one next year... Maybe even some other themed stories around Halloween... But that's a long time away, but service will resume as normal this Saturday with In Print in it's normal slot every two weeks.
It's been a great year drawing and producing these strips, and with thanks to Alasdair Shaw for scripting these
little gem's, long may it continue!

IN PRINT CHRISTMAS SPECIAL !

It's Here! The In Print Christmas special is live over at the Reprint Society's site. Standing at six page's long, this special features our usual suspects- Doctors 7 & 8, the eleventh Doctor, Captain Jack and the family Pond.... Also a couple others but I forgot who they were... You'll see! Alasdair Shaw, who writes the comic has certainly come up with a highly entertaining script to round up the first year of the In Print universe.
The Void Noir and myself would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas!
You can find the Special right here.

AMY POND & GALLIFREY ART

Here's a variation of Amy Pond aka Karen Gillan with Gallifrey in background, from a piece I've created
for the Terrible Zodin on-line magazine. I've been itching to put this one on the site for a while, but as it's almost Christmas I thought what the hell and stick it up.
